Tom Hayes is a Managing Director, Senior Research Analyst at ROTH, where he specializes in covering Special Situation companies. Prior to joining Roth in June of 2025, Hayes was a Sr. Vice President at C.L. King, where he covered the broader industrial segment including machinery, process technology and industrial technology firms. Before joining C.L. King, Hayes was a Managing Director, senior equity research analyst at Northcoast Research where he covered the Industrial Equipment, Industrial Technology, and Industrial Clean Tech sectors. Prior to Northcoast, Hayes was a senior equity research analyst at Thompson Research Group and got his start in the sell-side industry at Piper Jaffray (now Piper Sandler) where he covered Industrial Distributors, Industrial Equipment, and Industrial Technology sectors. Prior to working in the Investment Industry, Hayes spent approximately a decade in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
