Bio

John O'Brien is the Managing Director, Senior Sales Trader at ROTH MKM. He joined f MKM Partners in 2006 with the responsibility of establishing and managing the Cleveland office. In 2014, he was appointed as the Head of the West Coast, tasked with developing MKM Partners' institutional research, sales, and trading product offerings in that region. Prior to joining MKM Partners, Mr. O'Brien served as a Managing Director and Head of Sales Trading at Keybanc Capital Markets from 2003 to 2006. He also held the role of Senior Vice President of Sales Trading for Keybanc from 1999 to 2003, overseeing their west coast trading operations. Additionally, he worked as an OTC market maker for Legg Mason and Everen Securities from 1993 to 1999.

Mr. O'Brien earned his B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University.
