Thomas Messina is a Managing Director, Equity Trading Management at ROTH MKM. Before the acquisition of MKM Partners by Roth Capital Partners in 2023, he founded MKM Partners in 2002 with the aim of establishing a service and detail-oriented trading and research organization. The primary focus of MKM Partners was to serve as an extension of their clients' trading and research efforts. Before establishing MKM Partners, Mr. Messina held the position of Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales and Trading at A.B. Watley. During his time at A.B. Watley, he launched the Institutional Trading Operation in 1995. He gained valuable experience in Institutional Sales and Trading between 1988 and 1995 at firms including Cantor Fitzgerald, Weeden & Co., LP, and Mabon Securities.
