Byron Roth is Chairman and
CEO of ROTH Capital Partners, LLC an investment bank dedicated
to the smallcap public market. The firm has helped raise over
$16 billion, as well as successfully completing many merger and
acquisition and advisory assignments.
Mr. Roth is a co-founder of
three money management firms.
Cortina, founded in 2004, is a long only small cap growth
fund that has $2.5 billion under management;
EAM
Investors, founded in 2007, is a long only fund in both the
small and micro cap space that has $700 million under
management; and G.R.O.W., founded in 2012, is a long/short small
cap hedge fund that has $70 million under management. Mr. Roth
serves on the Committee of Managers for Cortina and EAM
Investors. Mr. Roth is a member of the University of San Diego
Board of Trustees and is also a Founding Member of the Executive
Cabinet for the Athletic Department.
Mr. Roth earned his undergraduate degree from the University of
San Diego in 1985 and his MBA from Cornell University's Johnson
Graduate School of Management in 1987.
